Our client is a well-established international shipping company specializing in the global transport of mineral concentrates, with strong trade routes across South America, Asia, the US Gulf, and Europe. With commercial operations centralized in Miami, they provide reliable and connected solutions to a diverse global client base.
 

They are now seeking a Chartering Executive to join their team. In this role, you will negotiate and fix charter party contracts, analyze freight markets, coordinate multiple cargoes, and develop strong relationships with shipowners, brokers, and clients. The position offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional to grow within a dynamic and international environment.
 

The requirements for this role are:
 

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the shipping industry, ideally in dry bulk chartering
     
  • Strong knowledge of freight markets and shipping operations
     
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
     
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with numbers
     
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and contracts in a fast-paced environment
     
  • Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills
