Consortio have partnered with a large multinational engineering consultancy who are rapidly expanding their multidisciplinary mechanical and resilience engineering teams. Our client operates in a global market pool across a wide range of industries with a heavy focus on resilience engineering including defence and energy as well as mechanical and civil engineering for large scale projects. Our client has recently merged with an organisation focussed on providing engineering, procurement, and construction services, allowing our client to invest heavily in growing the business and exploring new and exciting markets, while also reinvesting into their state-of-the-art facilities.
In this role as a Commercial Officer, you will be expected to perform a range of commercially orientated tasks such as drafting and checking a range of agreements including prime and subcontracts, NDA’s, MOU’s and JV’s. It will be the commercial officer’s responsibility to identify commercial risk and find mitigation solutions. The commercial officer will also play a key part in the bidding and tender process, assisting with negotiations and agreement drafting:
To be successful in this role you must have:
- A degree in Law/Business or Engineering/Technology
- Experience negotiating complex contracts and agreements
- Strong interpersonal skills
- The ability to manage your own time and prioritise strict deadlines
- Thr right to live an work in the UK
