Our client is a world leading ship owner who run a sizeable fleet of vessels from Bulk, PCC, LNG and Tankers, Container and have some small interests in terminals. They are a business that are currently expanding their interests in LNG and are taking a growing interest in unconventional assets such as LNG Bunkering, small to midsize gas to power and floating LNG.
Due to team growth our client is keen to bring someone in to head up their LNG commercial team. This team consists of 6 people who work to manage and develop their client relationships. You will lead this team in primarily managing existing customer relationships as well as pursuing business development opportunities to find conventional and unconventional LNG projects. This role is primarily a people management role as well as being the face of the team for customers in challenging situations. You will be in control of the P&L and responsible to senior management in all matters the involve the commercial aspects of our clients LNG business.
To be suitable you will:
- Have extensive experience in LNG
- Have previous experience in business development
- Have previous experience in time charter party negotiations
- Have experience of negotiating ship building contracts
- Have people management experience
