A global engineering group is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Compliance Manager to join its growing team. Based in either London or the Czech Republic, this pivotal role offers the flexibility to operate from a key European hub while driving compliance across a wide-reaching international product range.

The successful candidate will act as the company’s subject matter expert in electrical compliance, ensuring all products and processes meet applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage electrical compliance activities across engineering and manufacturing operations.
  • Interpret and implement international regulations and directives (e.g., CE, UKCA, IEC, RoHS, REACH).
  • Develop and maintain internal processes to ensure continuous compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Support product development teams with design-for-compliance guidance and risk assessments.
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies and certification bodies for audits, testing, and approvals.
  • Deliver training and awareness sessions on compliance standards across global teams.
  • Maintain and improve compliance documentation and technical files.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in a compliance, regulatory, or safety-focused electrical engineering role.
  • Strong working knowledge of EU and UK electrical safety regulations and standards.
  • Proven ability to manage audits, risk assessments, and product certification processes.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in English; additional European language(s) advantageous.
