A leading European maritime operator is seeking an Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join its modern fleet. This is a permanent opportunity offering long-term career progression, modern onboard systems and a professional working environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the vessel’s electrical and automation systems, carrying out planned maintenance inspections and supporting onboard safety and compliance procedures. Working closely with the Chief Engineer, the ETO will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
- Valid STCW ETO certification
- Valid seafarer medical
- Previous sailing experience as an ETO
- Experience onboard RoRo and/or passenger vessels preferred
- Strong knowledge of high-voltage, automation and control systems
- Good understanding of PMS and SMS procedures
- Fluent English communication skills
