Based at the Head Office in Gravesend, overlooking the River Thames, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in marine emergency planning, executing emergency exercises, and liaising with key stakeholders. This varied role includes contributing to the development of an effective safety management system and supporting regulatory frameworks, while providing vital statistical analysis and reports to senior management.

Requirements:

• Hold an STCW (OOW Unlimited) Certificate of Competency or BML
• Experience in navigational safety management, risk assessment, training, and emergency management
• Strong IT skills and ability to learn new software systems
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Confidence in engaging with colleagues at all levels
