Consortio have exclusively partnered with one of the largest yacht design and construction companies in the world who are looking to find a Vessel Certification Manager to join their illustrious and specialist team. Our client has been producing some the most beautiful and technically advanced yachts in the world for decades and pride themselves on innovation and flawless craftsmanship. Due to their increased growth and continued excellence, our client is looking to expand their team for 2019 and beyond.

In this role as a Certification manager, it would be your responsibility to ensure that all stages of the production process are complicit with statutory regulation in relation to both Classification Societies and State flag rules. Because of the highly important nature of this role, the successful candidate will be involved from conceptual design and plan approval right through to the construction and sale of a high volume of vessels. The Certification Manger is also responsible for maintaining relationships between Classification Societies and other regulatory bodies and our client, as well as being responsible for the transmission of information between all parties involved throughout the production process.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Degree in Naval Engineering/Architecture
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience in a highly rynamic role
  • The ability to communicate fluently in Italian and English
  • Class Society experience – very desirable
