Field Service Supervisor

An established engineering business is seeking a Field Service Supervisor to oversee technical service and repair projects across the marine and industrial sectors. The successful candidate will lead technical teams, oversee engine maintenance and repair work, coordinate field operations and maintain high standards of safety and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise engineers and technicians during servicing, repairs and inspections.
• Carry out engine overhauls, component repairs and mechanical assembly.
• Perform engine measurements, testing and fault diagnosis.
• Coordinate job planning, tooling, equipment preparation and mobilisation.
• Maintain accurate service reports, timesheets and technical records.
• Lead safety briefings and ensure compliance with site procedures.
• Liaise with customers, engineers and service coordinators.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members.

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:

• 3–5 years' experience in engine services, mechanical engineering or a related technical field.
• Practical experience with engine maintenance, repairs and inspections.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and technical measurement skills.
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Good organisational, communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driving licence, TWIC card and passport.
• Full US work authorisation and willingness to travel extensively, often at short notice.
