Our Client is a small European Freight Forwarding company mainly operating out of the Benelux and Scandinavia region with an ambition to grow further on both a Pan-European and Global Basis.
Due to this planned growth they are looking for self-driven candidates, ideally connected within the freight forwarding industry who possess strong business leads, with ability to hit the ground running, making a quick impact to help grow and develop their business.
At the heart of this role you will be responsible for driving new business and sales across local, regional and national companies while generating leads and opportunities. Managing a team of 2 freight forwarders to source and engage cargo booking agents to generate profitable freight-forwarding business while creating cargo carriage solutions by optimizing the usage of shipping. You will be ultimately responsible for developing and managing all of my client’s European freight -forwarding activities, while maintaining an operational overview to achieve and exceed set Budgets.
Successful candidates will be:
- Based in the Benelux region.
- Strong Air and Ocean knowledge.
- Proven track record of generating new business with the Freight industry Ambitious and target driven individual.
- Proven experience in logistics and intermodal abilities.
- Degree educated.
