Consortio have exclusively partnered with a large offshore energy engineering consultancy who have a very rare opportunity to hire in their senior management and leadership group. Our client is known the world over for their diverse and multidisciplined team who are one of the leading lights in the market in offshore consultancy and advisory services, especially in the Marine Warranty Surveying sector, as well as deploying a strong team of Naval Architects and Engineers in their offshore structural design and analysis teams. Having had a very stable senior management group over the last decade, an opportunity in the market has arisen to allow them to expand this group and start their search for their next Global MWS Manager to lead the organisation’s largest business stream.

The Global MWS Manager will be a key pillar in in the business and will be heavily involved and influential in deciding future business strategies. Our client would expect their next Global MWS manager to continue the expansion of their project pipeline, focussing on projects across the renewables sector, as well as subsea oil and gas projects and offshore decommissioning ventures. The successful candidate will be expected to take full leadership responsibility for the MWS technical and assurance services around the world, organising our client’s large team of engineers in Europe, North America, the Middle East and South East Asia.

The Global MWS Manager will have three overriding goals; Business Development, Technical Leadership, Project Delivery - due to the expansive nature and seniority of this role, our client is looking for somebody who has a demonstrable experience of managing multiple teams on different projects at the simultaneously and is able to develop outstanding business plans.


To be successful in this role you must have:

  • A degree in Offshore Engineering, Naval Architecture or Structural Engineering
  • Achieved Chartered Engineer Status
  • Extensive experience in design, T&I, loadout, and construction of fixed and floating offshore structures
  • Extensive understanding of bid and tender process
  • Experience directly managing people
  • Right to live and work in the UK
