Acting as the one stop solution for charterers, ship managers and ship owners/operators they have an immense global presence. The challenges that the shipping industry and ports around the globe have faced over the past 3 years has caused a lot of damage and resulted in several ship agents closing. However, despite these challenges, our client is constantly reaching new heights and is now looking to expand into different corners of the world.
The role is for a Global Sales Manager, and you will be responsible for identifying new business within China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. You will also be responsible for the reporting and review of sales performance to ensure the company meets sales targets. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will be able to ambitiously pursue new accounts daily and manage existing accounts to meet and exceed sales goals.
In order to be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
- Have a strong background in maritime and shipping.
- Have proven success in a sales position within shipping.
- Have a strong network.
- Able to communicate in Chinese and English.
