Consortio have partnered with a leading design house in Germany, producing fully custom yachts to their clients. This opportunity will see the successful candidate working on various projects with no two ever being the same. Our client is known for being an innovator within the industry, having won awards for their ground-breaking work with composite materials. They are looking for a head of Naval Architecture to take the design team to the next level.


Within the role you will have the unique opportunity to take a hands-on approach to the entire design process, from initial concepts to technical analysis. This role will see the ideal candidate leading a focused team of Naval Architects on specialised projects, requiring high levels of problem-solving as well as strong communication skills to be able to tailor solutions to the needs of your clients.


The ideal candidate should:

  • Have a degree/masters in Naval Architecture
     
  • Have at least 5 years relevant experience
     
  • Have experience working with composite materials
     
  • Have experience in a vast array of software packages
     
  • Be highly adaptable and proactive with change
