HSEQ Manager

Consortio are working with a dynamic and growing shipping company that owns and manages 3rd party tankers, priding itself on their efficient operations through improving industry standards.  By employing skilled professionals, who they then invest in to develop personnel careers they have won recognition as an industry leading employer. Due to company expansion, there is a need for a new HSEQ Superintendent to join their team.

This role is for a QHSE Manager who will assess the effectiveness of all the safety management systems the business uses. You will manage and ensure that all company policies and procedures comply with the most recent maritime legislative requirements while implementing and maintain ISO. In this role you will also take a lead in the investigation of accidents and coordinating emergency responses across the whole business. Another key responsibility in this role will be conducting pollution maintenance and further environment issues. 

To be suitable for this role you will:

  • Have sailed as a Chief Officer or Captain.
  • Have experience as a HSEQ Superintendent for a minimum of two years.
  • Experience in an onshore capacity for a minimum of two years.
  • Be fluent in English. 
  • Have the right to live and work in the E.U.
