Consortio is working with an International Ship Owner. They have a diverse fleet that covers all sections of the maritime shipping market. This is a role to commercially manage LNGc’s. You will be responsible for communicating relevant charter party information with the master’s on board these ships. It will also be your responsibility to appoint agents and negotiate fees with port agencies. Another key element of this job will be calculating and settling demurrage claims. Our client places huge emphasis on teamwork and therefore you will also assist the chartering department as when needed.
 

To be considered for this role you need to meet the following criteria;
 

  • 3+ years in commercial vessel operations.
     
  • Understanding of the LNG industry
     
  • Ship Owner exposure would be advantageous.
     
  • Must have existing right to live and work in the UK.
