Marine Superintendent

Consortio are working in partnership with a global 3rd party ship manager that operates a fleet of over 50 modern and high tech deep sea commercial vessels ranging from Bulk Carriers too LNGcs.  With offices in Europe and Asia they operate some of the most fuel-efficient vessels on the waters that have global trading routes.  They are committed to providing outstanding levels of service and standards to their customers which is personified by the high level of training and development given to its employees.

This role is for a Marine Superintendent to manage LNGc’s.  You will work closely with the Master to ensure high safety standards are achieved on these vessels. It will also be your responsibility to conduct internal audits and safety inspections prior to external checks. Another key element will be assisting your technical counterpart during dry dock and repair work. Under your remit will also be assessing and reviewing crew performance on your vessels. 
 

Successful candidates must:

  • Have sailed as a Master Mariner, preferably on Gas tankers.
     
  • Have had 2 + years as a Marine Superintendent, preferably on Gas tankers.
     
  • Strong communicator.
     
  • Have the right to live and work in the E.U.
