It is not very often our client take on individuals with a shore-based experience however this opportunity has arisen, and they are seeking a new Marine Superintendent.
This role will have you working as a Marine Superintendent across 10 of their bulk carriers. Your job will include the organisation and conduct of vessel’s inspections, as well as ensuring upstanding communication between the ship and shore on vessel matters. As your career develops your job will include training senior deck officers and crew, whilst monitoring staff compliance with maritime regulations. To be considered for Marine Superintendent role you will need to meet the following criteria:
- 1-2 years’ experience as a Captain on board bulk carrier vessels.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, in English and Greek.
- Ability to work collaboratively and a drive for continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in basic level IT.
- Marine Superintendent experience will be considered as a bonus.
