Consortio has partnered with a leading provider of marine surveying and consultancy services is expanding its presence in the United States and is now seeking a Marine Surveyor to join its growing team in Baltimore. With a strong international footprint and a reputation for technical excellence, this organisation supports a wide range of maritime clients from shipowners and insurers to law firms and P&I clubs.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surveyor to take on a varied and technically engaging role. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a broad scope of inspections including hull and machinery damage, cargo condition, draft and bunker surveys, and providing expert reports that meet the high standards of both clients and industry regulators.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in marine surveying.
- Strong familiarity with the standards and practices of cargo inspections, condition surveys, and marine casualty investigations.
- The ability to independently manage site visits and produce high-quality technical reports within deadlines.
- A full driving License.
- Full legal right to live and work in the United States.
