Consortio has partnered with a highly respected organisation operating within the global marine surveying and consultancy sector. Delivering technical expertise across cargo, hull & machinery, P&I, project cargo, and wider marine compliance work, the company is recognised for its accuracy, integrity, and strong client-focused approach. With continued growth across its international network, the organisation is now seeking to strengthen its surveying capability by appointing a Marine Surveyor with a solid maritime background and a motivation to develop within this specialist field.

As a Marine Surveyor, you will play a key role in supporting a diverse portfolio of clients including insurers, shipowners, charterers, cargo interests, and legal representatives. You will attend site-based surveys, manage case files, analyse findings, and provide clear, timely reports to stakeholders. This role offers a strong pathway for maritime professionals looking to transition into marine surveying, supported by structured development and close collaboration with experienced specialists across the global team.

The requirements for this role are:

  • A background within the maritime sector, ideally with seagoing experience or time spent in a technical marine environment
  • A university or college degree in a maritime-related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; an additional European language is advantageous
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks, work to deadlines, and maintain a high standard of reporting
  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn, take initiative, and work both independently and as part of a wider team
  • An interest in developing within the marine surveying profession, including exposure to cargo, H&M, and P&I survey work
  • Eligible to work within the EU (No Sponsorship will be provided on this role)

This position offers an excellent opportunity to join a respected organisation within the marine surveying industry, providing comprehensive training, international exposure, and long-term career progression. A competitive salary and benefits package is available for the successful candidate.
