Consortio have partnered with a large multinational engineering consultancy who are rapidly expanding their multidisciplinary mechanical and resilience engineering teams. Our client operates in a global market pool across a wide range of industries with a heavy focus on resilience engineering including defence and energy as well as mechanical and civil engineering for large scale projects. Our client has recently merged with an organisation focussed on providing engineering, procurement, and construction services, allowing our client to invest heavily in growing the business and exploring new and exciting markets, while also reinvesting into their state-of-the-art facilities.

In this role as a Mechanical Engineer in the Aerospace, Defence, Security and Technology team, you will delivery a wide variety of engineering projects. These can vary between small, intricate consultancy projects to large scale projects such as electrification of aircraft or designing critical systems for an aircraft carrier. You will be expected to create bespoke and optimal design solutions match client requirements as well as support the QA process through to review.

 

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • A degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
     
  • Achieved Chartership
     
  • Experience in the production of design documentation
     
  • Experience in 2D and 3D CAD design
     
  • The right to live and work in the UK
