We are currently seeking a Metocean Data Analyst and Report Writer to join our growing team of professionals at our Southwest Office. Reporting directly to our senior data team, the ideal candidate will utilize MATLAB and other industry-standard software to analyze, quality control, and present a comprehensive suite of metocean data collected by our Measurement teams in client reports. In this role, you will heavily utilize MATLAB for the comprehensive analysis and meticulous quality control of diverse metocean datasets. Your responsibilities will also entail transforming raw data into formats ready for inclusion in client reports, as well as conducting thorough scrutiny to identify outliers and potential equipment issues. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in crafting detailed technical data reports for clients and offering support in the development of technical proposals. Moreover, you'll be actively engaged in driving continual improvement initiatives aligned with our management systems, ensuring our processes remain at the forefront of industry standards.

 

  • MATLAB user & script writer (including debugging)
  • Experienced in applying data QC protocols.
  • Experienced in writing succinct, accurate data reports
  • Databasing experience
  • Ability to work to deadlines and to work on multiple projects
