Musician

Consortio have partnered with an internationally recognized shipping company based in Hamburg. They have 40 years’ experience in the shipping business and are currently expanding. They offer many different services within the shipping and maritime sector and are extremely focused on offering brilliant guest satisfaction ratings. Due to the rapidly expanding team they are currently hiring an Musician.

As a Musician you will be expected to be well presented and dressed appropriately at all times whilst on board (PLEASE NOTE - Jeans, Jumpers and Trainers are not permitted). You will also be responsible for playing the piano music during Tea time, during welcome cocktails until dinner starts and right after dinner until all passengers have left the lounge (in case there is no other onboard entertainment). 

To be eligible for this role you need to:

• Qualified training as a pianist or a musician with very good piano skills
• Documented relevant experience
• Very good knowledge of entertainment
• Sufficient training and broad repertoire, enough for a complete dancing party evening
• Good educational background
• Fluent in spoken English and/or German, depending on the vessel
• Good manners, well-groomed appearance
