Our client is an international provider of maritime training facilities. A variety of courses are offered and provided by experienced maritime professionals. They push the boundaries of technological advancement to ensure they achieve high quality outcomes. Despite a difficult time for this industry they are well placed with plans to expand rapidly.
 

This role is for a Nautical Instructor who will deliver deck side training to our client’s seafarer’s. You will utilise your strong technical knowledge to deliver training on subjects such as podded propulsion. In this role you will be encouraged to develop your own courses to cover new nautical areas that combine your keen interest and expertise. Very occasionally you may be required to visit vessels in person to maintain practices.
 

To be considered for this role you need to meet the following criteria;
 

  • Seafaring experience as a Staff Captain or Captain.
     
  • Experience handling vessels with conventional and podded propulsion is essential.
     
  • Must have cruise experience.
     
  • Teaching experience would be advantageous.
     
  • Speak fluent English.
