Consortio have partnered with an industry leading marine design and engineering consultancy who are looking to expand their team Naval Architecture team. Our client has state of the art offices the world over, using their continuously growing team to provide a range of modern and technologically advanced marine services to their clients. This particular office specializes in the design and analysis of commercial and passenger ships, as well as well as working with some of Europe’s most high-tech and futuristic Superyachts. Our client has more than doubled their current team over the last 4 years and are looking to continue that sustained growth.

In this role as a Naval Architect you will be working in a diverse and talented team of Design Engineers and Naval Architects contributing to the design and engineering analysis of commercial and passenger vessels. Within the role you are expected to be involved in the whole initial and conceptual design of the vessel as well as offer design assurance and stability/structural analysis, as well as liaise with Classification. The successful candidate will be expected to manage their own time and manage several projects at once.

 

To be successful in this role you should:

  • Have a BSc/MSc in Naval architecture or Ship Science
     
  • Have experience with 2D and 3D design packages
     
  • Have varied design experience
     
  • Have the right to live and work in the UK
