Offshore Structural Engineer

With offices in over 25 countries around the world, our client is always searching for the best talent in the Engineering world so that they can continue to strive forward and work with the newest and most advanced technologies, particularly in the renewables and offshore space.

In this role as an Offshore Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for contributing to and leading a team focused on engineering design and analysis of offshore fixed and floating structures. The successful candidate will also be expected to present all stages of their work to clients through client meetings and presentations, as well as develop their desk further by winning new business through client meetings and industry conventions and trade shows. Due to the diverse nature of our clients needs, you will be expected to work flexibly through different teams, giving you an opportunity to expand your own area of expertise – throughout your time in this role, you can expect to work on a variety of fixed structures ranging from offshore windfarms and jack-up rigs as well as floating structures such as semi-subs and FPSO/FSRU’s.


To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A relevant Engineering Degree – Structural, Mechanical, Civil or Naval Architecture
  • Demonstrable experience in the offshore/renewable sector
  • Experience with a variety of engineering software packages – SACS, SESAM, USFOS, ASAS, ABAQUS
  • A good understanding of relevant regulation codes: ISO, DNV, NORSOK
  • The right to live and work in the UK
