Consortio has partnered with an international client who specialise in the global transport of bulk cargoes. They are an up-and-coming broking house who have numerous connections and strong industry knowledge and experience. They are looking to expand despite the global pandemic situation and are seeking a new member to join their team at their London office.
 

As a post-fixture operator, you will be primarily involved with voyage planning and vessel scheduling. You will be required to give notice of arrival at both loading and discharging points, and liaise with external agencies like ports & customs etc. You will ensure the relevant information is passed to parties who require such information, and to ensure operations run smoothly. You will be required to calculate freight cost estimations for customers, and fees such as settlements & port disbursements etc.
 

Key skills & qualifications:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience as a post fixture operator.
     
  • ?High level of education.
     
  • Excellent organisation skills.
     
  • Clear and strong communication skills, with a high level of written and verbal accuracy.
     
  • Right to live and work in UK.
