Our client is a successful towage company that operates small workboats, large tugboats, survey vessels and multi role vessels.  Having completed many successful towage contracts around the UK, they have recently ventured out into European waters.  Their experience in all aspects of towage and salvage has ensured they offer the highest standard of service to their clients, and in turn has resulted in the acquisition of new vessels.

Due to this expansion and internal reorganisation they are looking to bring in a QHSE Manager to support with the daily operations and management of a tug boat company.  In this position you will have joint responsibility for 12 ships ensuring company vessels adhere to safety and quality standards.  You will also conduct and attend vessel inspections while working closely with the ship management team helping oversee the hiring process of personnel for deck departments.  Once you have proven yourself in this role our client would be looking to progress your career within the company supporting your own ambitions to become Operations manager.

  • Be able to man manage effectively.
