Consortio have partnered with a global design and engineering consultancy who are looking to expand both their Defence and Nuclear teams due to sustained and strong growth in the market. Our client had revenue of more than $1bn across the energy teams in 2020, and with an ever-growing demand for cleaner and modern energy solutions, our client foresee continued demand for their services – in this case, they are looking for several Control and Instrumentation Design Engineers to join their defence and nuclear teams across the UK.

 

As a Senior C&I engineer, you will be expected to contribute to system design and implementation in the Defence and Energy markets, performing end-to-end work related to safety critical C&I systems including FEED, conceptual and detailed design, coding, testing and commissioning. Our client would also expect the successful candidate to engage proactively with clients to understand technical need and develop lasting working relationships, as well as assist in the developing and mentoring of more junior members of the teams.

 

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Experience working in diverse projects in the Defence and or Nuclear power sector
     
  • Expert knowledge of safety standards and regulations
     
  • Perfect oral and written English language skills
     
  • Solid experience of mechanical and electrical C&I systems
