Consortio have partnered with a European design house who specialise in the design and engineering of some of the world’s largest and modern super yachts. Our client is looking to take advantage of a strong financial year as well as ever-growing order book by expanding their refit and post-sales team to take on a Service Coordinator. Our client has a modern office located near Amsterdam, close to a number of the busiest shipyards in Europe and expect 4 years builds to be completed this year.
As a Service Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for up to 10 vessels at any one time, working pro-actively to find solutions to the problems the end client might have. You should aim to help and support the owners and crews with all maintenance and refit requirements, whether that be organizing the installation of a new diesel generator or finding a yard that can facilitate a hull cleaning. On top of this, you will also be expected to handle all warranty related queries. Due to the nature of the yacht market, you should be able to maintain a positive customer service experience, even when handling the most difficult requests.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Commercial exposure in the maritime sector – preferably yachting
- Fluent written and oral Dutch and English language skills
- A valid EU passport
- Experience in client facing role
