Job Title – Shared Ownership Development Co-ordinator

Location –  High Wycombe

Salary – £25,000 - £28,000 

 

Company:

This role is working for a National house builder working for their Shared Ownership department. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to progress in their career and get involved with every aspect of what this side of the business does. This developer has got massive expansion plans for the next 5 years.

Responsibilities:

To assist the Affordable Housing Team and all Regions to add value to the process of affordable housing delivery across their developments.

Proactively network with RP’s and LPA’s to maintain and build relationships of depth and trust to ensure this companies sector profile is strong which will also involve attending stakeholder meetings.

Manage and maintain RP information and affordable housing contract database’s.

Understand, research and set out the commercial implications of LPA policies and s106 content to  regional land teams.

Support the affordable housing team and regional land teams to tender affordable homes to RP’s.

Monitor the affordable housing contract process with lawyers, RP’s, regional offices, EA’s etc.

Offer guidance and support to regional offices regarding queries relating to affordable housing.

Regularly review processes and documentation used by the Affordable Housing Team to identify efficiencies and better ways of working.

Collating and summarising information required by the Affordable Housing Director and Affordable Housing Manager.

Support the Affordable Housing Director to promote and enhance the Affordable Housing Team’s profile within the company.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Competent in using MS Word, Excel and outlook.

Confident communication and interpersonal skills that results in the ability to build an effective rapport with internal and external colleagues.

Ability to demonstrate a clear and concise writing style.

Able to interpret data from a multitude of sources showing attention to detail and accuracy.

Organised working style and flexibility to work in a variety of different locations.

The ability to work and remain calm under pressure.

An understanding of local authority planning processes is desirable but not essential.

Knowledge of the social housing sector is desirable but not essential.
