As a Ship Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of vessels, working closely with key stakeholders to optimize efficiency, compliance, and overall performance. This dynamic position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Your role will be integral in maintaining operational excellence, adhering to Charter Party agreements, and ensuring that all vessels operate within regulatory and commercial frameworks.
Requirements:
- Degree in Shipping studies, seagoing experience as an officer, or relevant office experience in ship operations.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- General knowledge of the shipping industry and its operational demands.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take initiative.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team.
- 2-3 years of experience in vessel operations, specifically within the Oil/Chemical Tanker sector.
- Capacity to work in a challenging, fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
