As Technical Manager, you will take full responsibility for the technical performance, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of a fleet of High Speed Craft. Working closely with onboard crews, classification societies, and external contractors, you will oversee planned maintenance, repairs, refits, dry dockings, and technical budgets while ensuring vessels consistently meet Flag State, Class, IMO, and ISM requirements. This position is ideally suited to an experienced Chief Engineer looking to transition ashore or an individual approaching retirement who is eager to utilise their extensive Fast Craft expertise in a rewarding shore-based role. Relocation assistance is available, with the successful candidate expected to relocate within the next 2–3 months.
Requirements:
- Previous sailing experience as a Chief Engineer onboard High Speed or Fast Craft vessels.
- Proven shore-based technical management experience within Fast Craft operations.
- Strong knowledge of TSI Fast Craft, Planned Maintenance Systems, Class, Flag State, and IMO requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple technical priorities.
- Willingness to relocate to Trinidad & Tobago, with candidates of all nationalities encouraged to apply.
