Technical Manager

This role will offer an English and Spanish Speaking candidate the once in a lifetime opportunity to work in one the Caribbean’s most modern and dynamic metropolis.  You will send you time surrounded by glorious beaches and high teach shopping malls.  Culture is also in abundance in this island of beauty with centuries old architecture and history. The role is available due to an internal promotion while the company enters a phase of cooperate restructure.  This leaves an open permanent vacancy for a Technical Manger to join the team.  In this position, you will ensure that your vessels are technically ready to meet its service commitments by working closely with your engineers and vessel managers in guiding them on best practice.  You will be controlling technical budgets while planning dry dockings and general repairs ensuring all necessary work is coordinated within timescales.  You team will consist of 12 direct reports working remotely throughout the Caribbean.

The chosen candidate must:
 

• Portray a strong character able to communicate at all levels.
   
• Must speak fluent Spanish and English. 
   
• Be motivated to lead and manage in a collective team environment. 
   
• Must have sailed in a senior rank Experience with setting and maintaining fiscal budgets. 
   
• 5 years shore-based shore side preferred.
