Our client are an experienced bunker craft owner, manager and operator. Based in the world's largest bunkering port of Singapore, we offer a reliable barging service to ship owners across Asia and beyond using our Singapore-flagged bunker tankers. Having over the years expanded through natural and organic growth combined with strategic acquisition they have positioned themselves to be one of the most sizable players in the market. As a business they believe in moving people from their fleet and training and developing their team to be the best it can be. Such an occurrence has arisen therefore putting our client in the position of seeking a new Technical Superintendent.
This role will have you working as a Technical Superintendent across their Chemcial & Oil ships. You will ensure that your ships are being kept up to the standards that the PMS requires, as well as planning dry docking cycles, as and when needed. You will ensure that your ships meet the safety standards required by our client, which will mean you may need to perform ship visits from time to time to spot check. To be considered for this role you will need to meet the following criteria;
- Seafaring experience as a 2nd Engineer or Chief Engineer on Chemical or Oil Tankers.
- Shore based experience as a Technical Superintendent with Chemical or Oil Tankers.
- Strong knowledge of the English language.
- Right to work in Singapore - Singapore Perenmant Resident
