The role is for a Technical Superintendent based in Indonesia, where you will be responsible for overseeing the technical management and maintenance of bulk carrier vessels. You will ensure vessels comply with industry standards, statutory, classification, and environmental regulations. Additionally, you will manage routine and non-routine maintenance, coordinate dry-docking activities, and ensure vessels remain operational and efficient. You will also liaise with ship management teams and lead efforts to improve technical performance.
 

The ideal candidate for this role will meet the following criteria:
 

  • Sailed up to the rank of Chief Engineer on Bulk Carriers.
     
  • Technical Superintendent experience preferred, but not essential.
     
  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia is essential for effective communication with local teams.
