Technical Superintendent

Consortio is proud to be working in partnership with a globally recognised offshore engineering organisation delivering complex marine and heavy-lift solutions across international projects. As part of its ongoing commitment to asset reliability, the organisation is now seeking to appoint a Technical Specialist to strengthen its central technical team.

The successful candidate will support the technical management and performance of critical lifting and hydraulic equipment across a modern offshore fleet. Working closely with vessel management and technical teams, the role will focus on maintenance planning, reliability optimisation, fault diagnosis and asset integrity oversight. Responsibilities will include budgeting support, review of downtime events, specialist technical input to projects and periodic equipment inspections, ensuring operational readiness and compliance are consistently maintained.

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:

• Degree-qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, Marine or related Engineering discipline
• Significant experience maintaining complex hydraulic and mechanical systems within offshore or heavy industrial environments
• Strong understanding of lifting equipment inspections and asset integrity management standards
• Proven fault-finding and diagnostic capability
• Working knowledge of associated electrical and control systems
