Technical Superintendent - Gas Carriers

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Technical Superintendent to join the shore-based team in Bremen and take responsibility for the technical management of LPG Gas Carriers. The role plays a key part in ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable vessel operations by overseeing maintenance strategies, technical projects, regulatory compliance, and vessel performance. Working closely with Masters, Chief Engineers, Class Societies, and external stakeholders, you will have a direct impact on the ongoing success and performance of the fleet.

Key Requirements:

• Chief Engineer’s Certificate of Competency with relevant seagoing engineering experience.
• Previous sailing experience onboard LPG, LNG, or other Gas Carriers.
• Previous experience as a Technical Superintendent is preferred, although experienced Assistant Technical Superintendents looking to progress will be considered.
• Strong knowledge of planned maintenance systems, dry docking, repairs, vessel modifications, and technical budgeting.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with fluent English required; German language skills would be advantageous.
