Currently there is a requirement for a Technical Superintendent to join and look after 4/5 of their container/bulker vessels. You will be working day to day to ensure the technical side of your vessels are always kept to the highest standards possible as well as ensuring that the work carried out will be within the budget set at the beginning of the year. It is very important that you know how to communicate well with your engineers on board as the trust and relationship you build will ensure smooth running of your ships. You will plan the dry docking cycles and be on site to oversee the dockings from start to finish.
Be an experienced Technical Superintendent having a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
Have sailed as a chief engineer on bulkers and/or containers.
Have worked with bulk carriers and/or container ships.
Possess the right to live and work in the EU.
Experience with setting and maintain fiscal budgets.
Have extensive dry-docking experience.
Be fluent in English.
