Technical Superintendent

Consortio are working in partnership with a global 3rd party ship manager that operates a fleet of over 50 modern and high tech deep sea commercial vessels ranging from Bulk Carriers too LNGcs.  With offices in Europe and Asia they operate some of the most fuel-efficient vessels on the waters that have global trading routes.  They are committed to providing outstanding levels of service and standards to their customers which is personified by the high level of training and development given to its employees. 

They are looking for a Technical Superintendent to manage the day to day duties of their assigned vessels ensuring that the Ships are operated safely & cost efficiently.  Responsibilities will include ensuring the dry dockings are completed within budget and in a timely fashion while completing ship visits to prepare your Chief Engineers for the PMS.  Coaching your Chief Engineers will be crucial in this role managing them to be the best they can be, in turn preventing downtime or inefficient operation of your vessels.

Successful candidates must:

  • Have sailed as a senior Engineer, preferably on Gas tankers.
  • Have had 2 + years as a Technical Superintendent, preferably on Gas tankers.
  • Speak fluent German and English.
  • Be able to prepare fiscal budgets.
  • Be aware of current PMS.
  • Have the right to live and work in the E.U.
