As Technical superintendent of 4/5 mid-sized duel fuel vessels you will be in charge of the technical and nautical state of the ships. You will be responsible for the planning and execution of repairs and maintenance during dry dockings ensuring operational costs are within budget. You will maintain close cooperation with the crewing, chattering and operations departments regarding the Vessels schedule.
The chosen candidate must portray a strong character able to communicate at all levels, working in a collective team environment fluent in English and Dutch (or willingness to learn Dutch). Successful applicants must have completed their certificate of competency as first-class engineer while completing at least 2 years shore based experience as a Technical Superintendent. Experience on gas tankers is preferable but not a prerequisite for the role.
