Technical Superintendent

The role is for a technical superintendent to join their team and be responsible for the technical management of 3 – 5 LNG carriers. You will be responsible for your engineering team and be expected to develop, mentor and control running costs to meet goals and KPI’s. In addition to this you will be expected to identify areas for improvements and modifications to improve vessel performance. You will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills and also be proactive in decision making and throughout every aspect of the job.

In order to be considered for this role you must have:
 

• 2+ years sailing experience as a Chief or 2nd engineer onboard LNG carriers.
   
• Technical skills related to ship operations and repairs.
   
• Experience as a Technical Superintendent – seen as an advantage, but not essential.
   
• Strong levels of English – both written and verbal.
   
• Excellent communication skills.
   
• Excellent Leadership skills.
