Due to rapid expansion followed by a management re-structure our client is looking to bring in a young and ambitious Marine Engineer to work alongside the existing management team as a Technical Superintendent.  You will be ensuring the engineers are performing their jobs correctly and keeping up with all work required by the PMS system. You will coach and develop engineers on board your ships to be the best they can be in their roles and provide day to day technical support to your ships. You will manage vessel budgets and operating expenditure as well as dealing with the planning and implementation of dry dockings as required.
 

Successful candidates will:

  • Have sailed as Chief Engineer or 2nd Engineer.
     
  • Have sailed on tankers.
     
  • Understand and have knowledge of ISM and ISO.
     
  • Right to live and work in E.U.
     
  • Have excellent people management and mentoring skills.
     
  • Be fluent in English.
