Trainee Shipping Consultant

The overarching common theme though is we work in markets that are thriving and the markets are desperate for talented people.

Our driving and logistics team is a new business stream to our business portfolio however is also one of our biggest success stories to date. We started this business during the pandemic when most recruitment businesses were running, hiding, and putting people on furlough. Instead, we boldly gambled on a market we thought would be a strong contended moving forward and invested in this space immediately. This has come back 10-fold. We have an incredibly successful consultant who loves this super-fast paced market where you can pick up 5 jobs and fill those same 5 jobs that day. For those that love the thrill of the chase this is a market for you. We want to hire two new trainees for this team to build on 2021’s success and will mentor you to thrive in this market.

To be suitable for this team and desk we are looking for trainees to have the follow attributes:

• Strong customer service mentality as you need to win and maintain big accounts.
• Enjoy negotiating.Have a can-do mindset.
• Enjoy working at a very fast pace.
• Able to juggle lots of processes at any one time.
• Happy to deal with issues out of hours as this market is a 24/7 market.
• Enjoy the idea of making sales calls and winning accounts.

Our business pays basic salaries between £19,000 and 35,000 depending on rank and level of experience. Everyone earns commission on top of this which means the lowest earners in the business take home around £26,000 a year and our highest earners are taking more than £100k home a year. It all depends on personal sales performance.
