Consortio has partnered with a world-leading ship management company to recruit a Vetting Superintendent to join their Limassol office. Reporting to the Vetting Manager, the Vetting Superintendent plays a vital role in ensuring the fleet is fully prepared for inspections by coordinating inspection scheduling and submissions across departments. This includes liaising with Masters, Marine and Technical Superintendents, Fleet Managers, QSHE, Crewing, and Operations teams. You'll be responsible for submitting inspection requests, tracking progress, and handling vetting questionnaires and screening matters. You'll also support in preparing vetting responses, maintain up-to-date records in SIRE, CDI, and Q88, and contribute ideas for improving procedures and workflows. Your work will directly impact the safety and performance reputation of a globally respected fleet.
To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
- A university degree and/or at least 2 years’ relevant experience with a ship management company
- Working knowledge of international maritime rules, regulations, and industry guidelines
- Familiarity with tanker operations, OCIMF SIRE, and CDI SIR
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Experience using vetting databases and maintaining inspection records
