The company boasts the most advanced port control service, overseeing the safe navigation of numerous leisure and commercial vessels annually. Responsible for safeguarding 100 miles of river, promoting environmental protection, and ensuring user safety, this company is at the forefront of fostering trade and travel through the river system.

As a Watch Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the regulation and monitoring of marine traffic to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Your responsibilities will include addressing developing unsafe situations, coordinating with emergency services during safety incidents, supervising the vessel traffic service, and managing operations room staff within your designated area.

Qualifications:

  • Right to live and work in the UK.
  • Experience sailing up to Chief Officer or as an experienced Vessel Traffic Officer.
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
  • Possession of a senior STCW Certificate.
  • Fluent in English.
