Assistant Quantity Surveyor

We are working with a fantastic premium brand-new home’s developer on their UK wide projects mainly dealing with the Southwest region. Being a forward thinking, modern and future inspired developer they design, construct, and finish built new homes up and down the country. This role will be based in our client’s state of the art office in Launceston, then moving over to the brand-new built office in Plymouth at the end of the year. You will be provided the opportunity to handle multiple sites and projects throughout the Southwest region once you have been fully trained.

Our new home developer will be looking for someone who is just come out of university with the qualifications or an experienced site/assistant site manager who will be looking to go into the role of a Quantity Surveyor.

In this role as the Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for liaising with clients from the start of the build all the way to completion of the projects. to measure and assess the work undertaken and then submit detailed, accurate and timely applications for payment including final accounts, take timely and proper action (e.g., notices) in accordance with the contract. Assist with preparation of contractual claims, contribute to the set up and review of the project risk register and financial and contractual needs of a contract are fully met in line with the required standards and time constraints. The Role will be only dealing with 1 site while you are in the training stage and the moving onto more sites once you have the adequate training from our client.
