Bunker Surveyor

As the global shipping industry continues to place greater focus on transparency, compliance, and quality assurance, our client is experiencing a sharp rise in demand for experienced bunker surveyors—and Singapore, one of the world’s largest bunkering hubs, is at the centre of it all.

With a reputation for technical accuracy and operational efficiency, our client is now looking to expand its survey team by hiring a Bunker Surveyor to be based in Singapore. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced port environments and has a meticulous eye for detail.

The role:

• Conduct bunker quantity surveys on board vessels and bunker barges in port.
• Monitor and document bunker transfers to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (including MARPOL Annex VI).
• Take precise measurements and samples to verify fuel quantity and quality.
• Prepare detailed reports and liaise with relevant stakeholders, including vessel crew, suppliers, and authorities.
• Uphold health, safety, and environmental best practices at all times.

To be eligible you must have:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Bunker Surveyor or marine surveyor.
• Strong knowledge of bunkering procedures, fuel specifications, and applicable maritime regulations.
• The rights to live and work in Singapore.
• Full drivers licence.
