Bunker Trader - Chinese Speaking

Consortio is working with an extremely well-established, international bunkering business. The company delivers high quality bunker fuels to anywhere in the world a through a carefully assembled team of experts. As a result of their continued success and excellent reputation in the market, the business is now expanding and brings an exciting opportunity for an experienced, Chinese speaking bunker trader to join them on a permanent basis.

In this role, you will be expected to maintain and develop profitable trading relationships; coupling your passionate and dynamic approach with a keen interest for the marine sector. You will be able to confidently identify and secure new clients in the Asia Pacific market and will enjoy connecting with new people and driving business. Only candidates with existing, active client portfolios will be considered for the post with a view to improve upon the success the business has so far experienced.

For this role, you will:

• Have 2+ years' experience as a bunker trader
• Have a proven track record of success
• Possess experience trading in the Asia Pacific market
• Portfolio of clients to confidently bring across
• Be fluent in Cantonese/ Mandarin and English 
• Hold the right to live and work in Hong Kong/ China or be prepared to relocate
