We are seeking a self-driven Business Development Manager in Singapore. This role is pivotal in expanding the company's market presence and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will leverage an extensive network of executive profiles in chartering, management, and ship-owner offices built over the years.
Professional Competencies:
- Technical or commercial background with strong business acumen
- Proven sales track record in the maritime industry (minimum 5 years’ experience)
- Experience selling to shipowners and charterers, particularly with software solutions
- Fluent in Business English and Spanish (verbal and written)
- Willingness to travel 60-80 days per year
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead sales efforts in assigned regions and develop new markets
- Generate and follow up on sales leads
- Provide weekly and monthly sales updates to managemen
- tManage customer relationships, feedback, and complaints
- Stay up-to-date with market requirements and user needs
