Consortio is proud to be working in partnership with a highly respected and well-established organisation within the marine technology and engineering solutions sector, recognised for its commitment to innovation, reliability, and excellence across the global maritime industry. This partnership reflects a shared dedication to advancing marine technology, operational efficiency, and sustainable solutions that support the future of smart shipping and integrated vessel systems. Together, we are seeking to attract an outstanding professional to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team that exemplifies integrity, collaboration, and commercial excellence.

As part of this partnership, we are seeking an accomplished Business Development Manager / Sales Manager to lead and expand the organisation’s commercial activities across the maritime and defence markets. The successful candidate will take responsibility for driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and strengthening client relationships across a portfolio of advanced marine technology solutions. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping and executing the company’s global business strategy, ensuring alignment with market trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities.

This position requires a strong balance of commercial acumen, technical understanding, and strategic vision. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in business development or sales within the maritime, defence, or technology sectors, combined with the ability to identify opportunities, negotiate effectively, and deliver sustainable growth.

Requirements:

Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the maritime, defence, or high-technology sectors.
  • Strong technical understanding of marine electronics, automation, or integrated systems.
  • Proven experience developing and maintaining long-term client and partner relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic mindset with a results-driven and proactive approach.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.

This is a rare opportunity to join a forward-thinking name in the maritime technology sector—an organisation that combines commercial expertise with an innovative approach to modern marine solutions. If you are an experienced Business Development or Sales Manager seeking to drive growth, build strategic partnerships, and influence the future of maritime technology, we invite you to apply and become part of a team shaping the evolution of global marine innovation.
