Chief Engineer - 45m+ Private/Charter Motor Yacht
We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join a 45m+ motor yacht operating a private and charter programme. The owners enjoy spending time on board and regularly entertain friends, so this is a varied role within a yacht that sees good owner usage alongside charter activity.
The Details
- Salary: $9,500–$10,000 per month
- Leave: 40 days
- Programme: Private and charter
- Winter: Caribbean, with charters starting in December
- Summer: Likely Mediterranean, with plans to be confirmed
- Additional: Potential yacht show attendance
The Requirements
- Proven yachting experience as a Chief Engineer
- Valid Y3 qualification - essential
- Strong engineering, maintenance and troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable managing the technical side of a busy private and charter programme
- A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail
- Valid B1/B2 visa and Schengen visa, where required
